My sister-in-law sent me some pics of my neices this last week and I just couldn't resist posting them. They are just too darn cute! Sydney is 26 months and Salem is already 2 months old :-) I miss Syd so much and can't wait to meet Salem. They're starting to look so much a like!

We went over to Alex's house on Sunday to celebrate his 2nd birthday :-) As you will see in the large collection of pictures the kids had a blast. Alex got tons of fun toys and cute outfits and they all had so much fun together!
Adrienne loved riding Alex's new trike. Well she loved being pushed on Alex's new trike!Sooo cute! Someday they are getting married they just don't know it yet!
Maria took my camera for awhile to get pics of me and the kids...LOVE HER! I never have pics with my kids.
Caleb did great on the trike. He loves to take his motorcycle outside now and ride around the circle. He gets better every day!
Alex and his grandpa!
Maria and her friend Angie...sooo cute!
Adrienne attempting her first wheely!
My 3 loves....cute peeps horrible pic!
Chad had to give all the kid rides in the wagon and on their way back he would run. Oh was that a hit! Caleb is riding with Alex's cousin, Luke.
Caleb had to help Chad this time...adorable!
Could she get any cuter!!
She is looking at Maria's friend Nicole, who Adrienne really liked!
I think Caleb thought this was seriously for him. Alex had just gotten into Thomas so now they are going to have even more fun with each other this summer!
I think we actually look alike in this one!
I can't even remember the last time we had a pic together...sad!
Alex loving all his new presents!
All the kids admiring the cool cake!
Caleb devouring his piece
The whole group...so much fun!
We had such a great time!! It was a perfect night too :-) We are anxious for Maria's last week of school to be over and lots of play time...the kids cannot wait..and the mom's too!

The two coolest little kids in the world decided they actually wanted to pose for me in the tub last night...praise the Lord! Some days I want them to grow up haha, but most days lately I'm sad they are getting older :-( Beware there are some girl parts in here :-) And I finally actually edited and processed pics of my kids...crazy concept right!
That little curl was killer!
They really do love each other! And now for a chunky bottom....she'll kill me someday for this but seriously isn't that absolutely adorable!
And her long curly locks!
God knew I needed them! They are my pure joy! :-)

About once a week Caleb and I do a little cuddle session where I tell him all the things about him that I love. I usually start with all his body parts and point to them and tickle them hehe! Then do all the other things I love about him (i.e..how he plays nicely with his sister, what a good dancer he is, how polite he is, etc....oh the list is endless). And today it went a little different.....
Mom: Caleb do you know how much I love you??
Caleb: This much!!! (arms stretched out)
Caleb: I love your eyes.
I love your teeth.
I love your eye lashes.
I love your lips.
I love your toe balls.
Yep that's how it ended. "I love your toeballs!!!" HA! Quite comical but more sweet as he has never done it to me and it just melted my heart!!!

Now that spring is finally here, the only thing the kids want to do it play in their sand and water table. They literally can play with it for 3 hours straight, it's incredible!! The only problem with this is that they are covered from head to toe in sand and WATER! So needless to say we are changing clothes several times a day ha!
Adrienne pointing to "airpane". She's obsessed! The ever famous Caleb look. I'm not sure when I'm going to get a good one of him!
Ok so I have 50 others just like this. This is all she did the entire time!
Isn't she the cutest! She's getting so old :-) Long hair, taller and oh so talkative! Our favorite lately is when you ask her to say "octopus" and she always says "applesauce". They sound alike, right???
Oooo a smile, too bad he won't look at me!
I did find sand in his ear during dinner this night. Never fails! They sure have a blast though!!!

I can't imagine being a teen and trying to raise a child. Being 27 and raising two is extremely difficult, rewarding and a blessing, but difficult nonetheless. If I was 17 and raising a baby, I'm not sure I would be able to do it. I know many people young and old read this blog for other reasons then to hear my rant on issues, but I thought if one teen read this and made new, better choices then my work was just beginning.
For years now I've thought about talking to teens about this huge issue and starting to realize that I may just be getting somewhere with it. I know I may not be the prime candidate considering I waited to have children in marriage. But I have my fair share of friends who didn't wait. Seeing the impact a 27 year old can have on a 17 year old in the last few years has been eye-opening.
So today, just one small step. A blog post to open your eyes. If your a teen, live your life to the fullest before living your life for your child. You have your whole life to raise children, live this time for yourself. If your a parent, do what you can now, to prevent your children for becoming a statistic. May it be small or big considering your circumstances, there is no time to wait. If your an adult, just the smallest act can be a huge difference. Write a blog post, have a nice talk with your teenage neighbor, call an old friend who may need help talking to a teen, or volunteer at a local organization promoting prevention of teen pregnancy. One small step will change someone's life for the better.

One of my most amazing, beautiful best friends from high school just got hitched in AZ. Unfortunately, the times and finding a babysitter to watch two kids under 3 was impossible. So these will have to do. I second Mindy's comments, their love literally will knock you to the floor. It's beautiful and breathtaking, just like them :-) Enjoy!
